GEORGE W. HAMMOND was born 1842 in Sumter, Georgia, and died 1871. He married MARTHA G. BIRDSONG November 08, 1860.

Notes for GEORGE W. HAMMOND:
In 1870 Sumter Co. George was not listed with Martha who lived by Norfleet. She was Keeping House alone.

Notes for MARTHA G. BIRDSONG:
1870 census indicated she was deaf & mute

Children of GEORGE HAMMOND and MARTHA BIRDSONG are:
i. GEORGE4 HAMMOND.
ii. WILLIS HAMMOND, b. 1861.
iii. JOSEPH HAMMOND, b. 1862.
iv. RUTH HAMMOND, b. 1869.

I am trying to connect Martha to my Birdsong line.
