Parents of Elizabeth LATIMER who married John BIRDSONG were John LATIMER, Sr., d. abt. 1800 and Elizabeth "Betty" LENOIR. She was b. 19 Jul 1735 in Brunswick Co., VA and d. abt. 1793 in Brunswick, Brunswick, VA. Her parents were Thomas LENOIR (acutally LeNoir meaning "the black" because of the area they were from in France) and Mourning CRAWLEY, b. 02 May 1709 in York Co., VA and d. abt. 1800 in Franklin Co., NC. Mourning was the daughter of Robert CRAWLEY and Ann TIMSON.
