My 4th great-grandmother was Lydia Bird, born circa 1799 in North Carolina. She marrried Reuben Robert Tallent, born circa 1794 in Anson County, North Carolina. I have seen where Lydia may have been a sister to Nancy Bird ( Cherokee name "Cheasquaha") who married Josiah Long, yet the dates don't quite match as I have seen where Nancy Bird's birth has been estimated around 1760. I have also seen where there may have been another sister, Sindie Bird, who married a Burch. Does anyone have any info on these families? I would appreciate any help I can get at this point. Thanks!
