I have a John Bird in my line born in 1790 probably in Litchfield Connecticut. He would've been 24 when your Margaret was born. I have no other particulars on this John Bird other than his lineage all the way back to 1600 to a Thomas Bird who was the first in my line to come from England to Hartford CT. area. Let me know if you want more info on this line.
