On the Adam of Adam and Phoebe.....do you know for sure that he is the one with land in Madison Co. Arkansas? My Adam, his uncle I think...I'm a little rusty on them at the moment....came to Arkansas after 1880...lived in Sebastian Co for a while then on to Okla where he later died. His widow lived there to be 104 years old. Could you be getting these two confused or did yours go to Arkansas also? If there was another Adam in Arkansas I'd love to know because I've never been sure about the land patent either. I know that there were some Burchfields in Carroll Co., Ar, next door, but they were from Tennessee and I've never found any link to them.
