My wife's g-g-grandparents were Emma F. Smith who married Abram Trimmer in 1882. This was her second marriage. We knew her first marriage was to a Binns and just recently found out that it was probably to a Charles Binns in 1875 in Shelby County IL according to marriage records at ancestry.com.We have just found obits of Emma Trimmer's 1908 death saying son Harry Binns from Decatur was a survivor. In the 1880 census, there is an Em(m)a Binns with a 1 year old son Harry living with a family in LaSalle County IL(why she was there we don't know yet). This would have made him around 62 in 1942 as the death cert you have says. Harry lived in Decatur as an adult as did the Trimmers from our family. We believe this is the correct Emma because she's the only Emma with a son Harry in IL. Charles must have already died (?) by 1880 leading to her marriage to Trimmer in 1882.
So it could be Charles and Emma F. Binns were your Harry's parents.
