Have tried the BENNING family forum, so now I will try the BINNING family forum. The name has come down to me as BENNING but I know that at times it had been spelled as BINNING. Andrew BENNING's brother John spelled his name BINNING. It appears as both from census to census. Am looking for descendents of Andrew Benning/Binning b. 1806 SC, my gg-gf. Wife Amanda. Albert M. Benning b. Ala. 1851, my g-gf. Wife Mary Jane Benning. Levi Harrison Benning, b. Miss. 1880, my gf. Wife Maybelle (Mitchell) Benning. The family were early settlers in Calhoun County, Miss. My dad Charles Mitchell Benning and his siblings were born there. I know there are relatives out there, come on talk to me!
