My Dearest Cousin,
I'm delighted that the information that I sent you found you and I'm so happy to have another binning interested in the family. I would have answered you before now but I've been in Memphis seeing my half brother Jon Carey Binning ( our father was the same but we had different
moms). OK, so I went backwards from our Grandfathers so now i wanna go farward on my side of the family. These should be people u have never met and perhaps you would like to hear about them.
My Grandfather was Francis Henery Binning Sr. He was born on February 28th,1888 in Bayou Sara, Louisiana. Bayou Sara is now a part of St. Francisville, and he married Mary
Lillian Romero (your Great Aunt and my Grandmother). They were married in 1908 in Woodville Mississippi. He died in 1968 and she died in 1963. they were buried side by side in the Magnolia cemetary in Baton Rouge Louisiana. They had nine
children, ^ boys and 3 girls, They were :
Francis Henery Binning Jr. 1st born married to aunt Jesse
2 sons Franky and Stanley they had daughters but i can only remember Patsy. We called him Uncle Nank and he was a painter. He died of Lou Gariegs disease
Davis Romero Binning 2nd born never married (he was gay but he was a sweet old man)
Windom Wayne Binning 3rd born married to Aunt Ruthie ( she died a few months ago) They had 2 sons Kenneth Wayne and i cant recall the other. Uncle Windom owned a contracting company and uncle Nank and my dad worked for him off and on over the years. Uncle Windom died young. He was watching an LSU and Alabama football game and when Alabama won he jumped up had a massive heart attack and died. Ive never been big on football since that day. Their son Kenneth was a history teacher at Broadmoor High School for a long time
and I dont know what he's doing now.

He didnt like his name Marion so every one called him Sonny or MM Binning. He was always my Uncle Sonny. He was in the Race riots of the 1960's and was in Time Magazine for shooting a black sniper out of a second story window during a parade. He was an avade gun collector and a dead shot with a pistol. He was about 60 yards away when he killed that sniper. I got to go to the police boys camp in Leesville Louisiana because of Uncle Sonny when I was a kid and every summer was a blast.
