Still looking for any documentation that would prove my gg grandmother, Levina BINKLEY, to have been the daughter of Jacob B. BINKLEY (1796 - 1865) and Mary D. HINKLE (1797 - 1885). Levina was born in Robertson Co., TN in 1817; married Sanford CLINARD before 1840; died in 1888 in that same county; and was buried in Mt. Sharon Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery. She and Sanford had 4 children:Mary "Mollie" Matilda, Sarah "Sallie" Elizabeth, James Hardie, and my g grandfather, Jacob Allen CLINARD. I believe, according to early census, that Jacob B. BINKLEY was the only BINKLEY in Robertson Co. who could have been Levina's father, and he and his wife were also buried in Mt. Sharon Cemetery not far from Levina's daughter, Sarah "Sallie" Elizabeth. If anyone has any information about the family of Jacob B.
