I live 8 miles from Somerset Ohio,But just recently found out my husbands line was connected to the Binckleys
I am trying to locate anyone of this line,
I just started on my husbands line a few weeks ago,
His line is Though
1,Elizabeth Binckley dau of Christain Binckley and Elizabeth Reid,their daughter
2,Elizabeth Binckley married Jacob Downhour
their son
3Peter Downhour as I have saw so far while searching also married an Elizabeth maiden name Lykes or Luke
Their son
4,Daniel Downhour married an Alice have no idea what her maiden name was,But in the census she is listed as Alice their son
5,Clarence Downhour married Harriett Hilliard ,And they lived in West Rushville,Fairfeild County Ohio they had a son.
6,Fred E Downhour he married Anna Mae Wade in Greenup Kentucky,but they lived in West Rushville Ohio all their life,They had a son who is my husband also named Fred only somehow the H was dropped from his name Downour,He was born and raised in West Rushville,Ohio,So we know this area,I can do alot of reseach here in Perry county sence I live so close to the court house,But need to know all that I can,If someone could help me,With the Binckley's or the Downhours,So I will know where to start,I can then go to the court house and try to document what still needs to be,Without wasting time on research that has already been done,I have been researching my own line for over twelve years and have it back to 1566 in Germany and Switzerland,So I can devote more time to research here,Anyone willing to help me I will be glad to do research for them here,I have already been to the Holy Tinity in Somerset,Ohio where John and Margaret Downhour are buried,and today I am planing a trip to the Binckley Ridge Cemetery to take pictures,My husband had no idea who his family was til I started reseaching his line.So anyone with a picture of one of his descendants we would love to see it.Any help you can give I would appreciate it,And if there is any documents to be found that havent already,I will do all I can to find them,Thank you Lois
