Still looking for the parents and siblings of my gg grandmother, Levina BINKLEY, b. 1817, Robertson Co., TN (m. Sanford CLINARD bef. 1840). Both buried: Mt. Sharon Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Children of Sanford and Levina: Mary Matilda "Mollie" CLINARD, b. 1840, d. 1918 (m. J. A. COBB; 1st husband may have been William H. FUQUA -- not proven); Sarah Elizabeth CLINARD, b. 1845, d. 1923 (m. Samuel L. CLINARD); James Hardie CLINARD, b. c1847, d. bef. 1914 (m. Eliza PARKER CLINARD, widow of Brown C. CLINARD); Jacob Allen CLINARD (my g grandfather), b. c1853, d. c1893, Robertson Co., TN (m. Martha F. VOWELL).
I believe there's a good possibility that Levina was the daughter of Jacob B. BINKLEY, b. 20 Mar 1796, d. 2 Nov 1865, and Mary D. HINKLE, b. 31 Jan 1797, d. 22 Dec 1885, but I have no real proof. In the 1830 Robertson Co. TN Census, there were several males named Jacob BINKLEY but only one who had a female in the household who was the age that Levina would have been in 1830. This Jacob's age fits the age of Jacob B. BINKLEY. If anyone has any information about any of these people, please let me know. Thanks very much.
