You may already have this info by now, but just in case: In the book "The Deserted Sycamore Village of Cheatham County" by Lois Barnes Binkley, the following information is written re Jackson Binkley:"Jackson Binkley came to America from Germany with his brother, Black Binkley. The brothers settled in North Carolina for a short time before they removed to what is now Cheatham County. Jackson built a log house up the hollow from the present (Ray Pillow ranch) Blue Spring Road in Cheatham County. Black built a log house on what is now the Peter Pond Road which connects with Blue Spring Road. Black's son, James, inherited the home which, at James' death, was bequeathed to James' son Adam. The home is one of the oldest houses remaining in Cheatham County. Jackson Binkley married Margret Hunt and they had six children: Nancy, Mary, Eddie, L. J. (Buddy), William (Will), and Thomas. jackson's occupation was farming, but two of his sons worked at the Sycamore Mills." WILLIAM FRANKLIN BINKLEY: "Will was born on September 6, 1865, and died on Sept 10, 1925. He was married to Jennie Abernanthy who was born on November 6, 1871, and died on April 19, 1947. They had 7 children: Lula, Leota, Eva, Otto, Louis, James, and Earl. Will worked in the soda house at Sycamore Powder Mills about 11 years. He often loaded money to the other mill hands. During years 1902 and 1903 he earned a dollar a day. Will and Jennie lived in the old academy building overlooking the village for a short time, then they moved to the last house on Main Street in Sycamore Village." There is a lot more info on Will and Jennie in this book plus there are pictures too. Hope this helps. Reba
