Does anyone know of the connection between these two people and the Binkleys of Cheatham Co. and Robertson Co., TN? It appears that they were born between 1770 and 1780. They married Dec.21,1807 in Davidson Co.Tn. They were in Cheatham Co area by 1830. James Coon appears to be tied into the Hans Caspar Kuhn family from SC. Conrad Coon, a son of Hans Caspar, was in Davidson and Robertson Co.'s by 1820. He appears in a couple of court cases with James, so he may be his brother. However, he is not listed in Hans Caspar's will. Many Binkleys are also mentioned in this Kuhn book. James and Betsy's children were Hiram, Lillevant, Elizabeth, Henry,George, James W, Sarah and Lucinda(this is the one I'm related to). Lucinda born about 1810 or 1811 married James Fielder. All of these people were mentioned in the will along with a John Barton who ended up marrying Elizabeth Coon, daughter of James Coon. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Help me with some missing links. All of these German speakers seem to be related somehow...perhaps Elizabeth is a daughter of Johann Adam Binkley and Anna Maria Weller.
