Dear Pete,
I have allready had contact with Christopher Fox in regards to the Bingley family but also noticed your posting. I am not related to the Bingley family, but I am doing research for my brother in law who is. If you are the "Charles Bingley" on your web site then you and my brother in law are 6th cousins. His line is as follows:
Benjamin Kennett Bingley -> John Bingley -> Joseph Bingley -> William Bingley (who went to America c. 1886 and settled in Lowell, Mass) -> Joseph Bingley -> Ellen Marie Bingley who married Edwin David Melton and are the parents of my brother in law (both parents deceased).
Joseph Bingley and his wife Mary Etta Carrigg (parents from Ireland) had a total of 7 children so I can only assume that there are a quite a few decendants here in the USA.
Many of the Bingleys went to California where I am currently, my sister and brother in law are currently living in Colorado.
