BINGHAM -- Among the passengers on board the Sierra Nevada from San Juan, where it is said he was a participant in the "fortunes of war," having received a severe wound at the siege of Grenada, was Mr. BINGHAM, well known in California, in his connection with the Quartermaster's Department of the army, and afterwards as an actor and manager. He left California some 3 years since, and was severely wounded at Aspinwall, in connection with his memorable affair with a well-known actress. During his residence in Grenada he lost his wife and children by cholera, and has finally returned to California worn down in sprit, and poor in purse. Notify Administrator about this message?
