Hi Sharyn
Athough your original message is over two years old, I hope you are still around to read my (very) belated response - my excuse is I've only just finished analysing where "our" Binges fit in - it is complicated! If you have Binges from Dry Drayton, it is likely that you are (distantly) related to my wife!
To keep it fairly simple at this stage :
- My wife is Angela Catherine White-Robinson (b 26 Apr 1957, in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, England, UK). She is the 5th Gt-Granddaughter of the earliest Binge we have so far. She is also his 6th Gt-Granddaughter!!
- This was Edward Binge, about whom all I know is that he married Mary Allen on 10 Jun 1772 in Dry Drayton, Cambridgeshire, England, UK.
- Angie's Gt-Grandfather was James White-Robinson (b c17 Mar 1816 in ?St Mary the Great, Cambridgeshire). He married Edward Binge's Gt (& 2nd Gt) Granddaughter, Elizabeth Binge (b 27 May 1849 in Dry Drayton) on 17 Nov 1873 in Kensington, London, England, UK.
I have some more info on other descendants of Edward, but not a lot post-1873 relating to the Binge family. I also have quite a lot on the post-1795 White-Robinsons, but not much before that on the Whites, and nothing before that on the Robinsons (I did say it was complicated!!)
I am also responding to a couple of the other UK messages.
If any of this sounds interesting, let me know and we can take it from there.
Saludos
Ian (aka Mexican Ian!)
