Samuel Bingman family. Samuel was born in Frankfort, Kentucky - 23 Feb. 1821, died in Sinclair, Illinois. Married Alabama Holmes, b. 22 Feb. 1823 in Spencer, Indiana, died in Sinclair, Illinois. Marriage date - 29 December 1842. Children of Samuel & Alabama Bingman: 1) Margaret E. Bingman b. 11 Jan. 1843; 2) Mary Ellen Bingman b. 23 Jan 1848, died 20 Dec. 1925. Married Jacob Stockton, b. 07 March 1842, died 09 Oct. 1920. Marriage date - 24 March 1842; 3) James Bingman, b. Nov. 1849; 4) Susan Bingman, b. 1854; 5) Stephen Edward Bingman, b Oct. 1857; 6) Elisha C. Bingman b. 1859.
