Your John R. Bingaman was the son of William Agustus Bingaman & Cassander Merridith. William was born 2 Dec. 1840 in Franklin County PA. He was the son of Frederick Bingaman & Eliza Hamilton. Frederick was born 30 Jan. 1810, in Franklin County PA, to Abraham Bingaman & Catharine Beaver. Catharine was the daughter of Nicholas Beaver. Abraham & Catherine left Franklin County with Frederick and family between 1840 & 1850 first settling in Ohio before going to Indiana. We don't know where Abraham & Catherine are buried or their date of death.
