I have made many discoveries since. My family is actually from Dettwiller, France. They have been Catholic for many generations, perhaps 200 years. The surname in the records of this town use the BINDER and BINDNER spellings. I guess I should not be surprised by that since now in Cincinnati I have traced my tree to descendants using the Bender and Binder spellings. Notify Administrator about this message?
