In Reply to: William Bilton (c1820-1884) Lincolnshire, England by Carolyn Y. McWilliams of 231

William and Adelaide had their children baptised in the Wesley Methodist church. Original Baptism Books are at Lincoln Archives (England) but are only available to visiters - have not been copied or digitised for access on the internet.
William's parents appear to be Richard, born in Caistor c.1794 who married Ann (-) born in Welton c.1800, details on 1851 census, Adelaide was staying with Richard's family at the time.
Richard and Ann Bilton had at least 6 children (found on censuses and parish registers); Elizabeth (c1820), George (born 12 July 1822), John (c1825), Olivet(born 12 Feb 1827), Jane(born 28 July 1830), Mary(born 26 Jan 1834 Glentham).
Richard Bilton's parents, from Caistor Parish register 1794, were probably John and Elizabeth Bilton, living in Glentham on the 1841 census.
