Kari, I am decended from George Billman, he
arrived in Wayne Co Oh in about 1835, His
brother John came to New York in 1830, and
married there and came to Ohio at the same
time as George. I think the family consisted
of John, George, Jacob and Martin. The father
and mother were Michael and Magdalina Billman.
The parents came with the sons. John stayed in
Wayne Co Oh. George married Barbara Stoffer
according to Wayne Co records or Barbara Ebner
according to family history. George and Barbara
moved to Ceder Co IA in 1845 and then to Lee
Co IA in 1852. Son John M Billman was born in
Cedar Co IA, son George born in OH died in 1853.
Martin Billman move to Lee Co Ia ca 1856 and
married there in the same year.
