Hello Jim, a Billeter is re-appearing after 13+ years.
Sorry not to know where Marsha is but am looking for her also. When I last heard from her in December 1985, she was excited because her book, she thought, would be ready in 6 months.
Now Mannedorf - it was the ancient home of the Billeters in Switzerland. I gave the information to her. I had met Julius Billeter in Salt Lake City in the late 70s and he gave me a copy of his rough draft of the history of Mannedorf and the Billeters there. At that time he told me other Billeters spread out over Europe with some showing up in England possibly as early as the 13th century. That will be our line, at least I am working on that premise. In her letter of 15 Aug 1985 she was also convinced of that and was hoping to prove it.
