Hi Jim, You are obviously right about Edward's daughter -- I didn't know Joseph Billiter's marriage date. BUT, how about Elizabeth Fuller, one of the daughters of Capt. WIlliam Fuller himself??? She was apparently born in about 1655 in Anne Arundel Co., which would seem to be a possible date for someone who married in 1671. I have only been looking into this group of MD Fullers for about 45 days, so I am still making a lot of discoveries. Just this evening, I found another Fuller, Thomas, who arrived in the 1660s and lived in Anne Arundel Co. in very close proximity to Edward Fuller. Maybe he is my ancestor instead of Capt. William Fuller -- only time and further research (or some very kind assistance from anyone who might already know the truth) will tell. I think, however, that it might be useful for both the Fuller and Billiter descendents to look into these various possibilities. The Elizabeth Fuller in VA, niece of Nicholas Fuller, would be far too old to be a candidate. Captain William Fuller was converted by Elizabeth Harris, a Quaker missionary from England who was in the Anne Arundel area from about 1655 to 1657, i.e., just about the time that William Fuller started to have children. By far the best summary of information on Capt. Fuller which I have found is on Alice Gedge's listing for him on Rootsweb. I would suspect that you would see many parallels between William Fuller's history and that of Joseph Billiter, although Fuller was a generation older. I will let you know if I find anything that might be of interest to the Billiters. Thanks, Craig Englund Notify Administrator about this message?
