I have a Mark Billeter m Mary Patterson NOT Owens.

Citing: Bovey, Marsha, unpublished letter 27 Jan 1981 to Karen Romick (Kindly provided me by cousin Karen):

"Mark Billeter b 1793 Stokes Co, NC, d 1860 Harrison Co, IA; m Grant Co, KY Mary Patterson b 21 May 1796 MD d 12 Aug 1872 Shelby Co, IA"

Marsha was stating her line. Mark was the g-grandson of "Old Joseph" who immigrated from Mannedorf, Canton Zurich, CH (Switzerland) in 1671 to the Delmarva. Mark was s/o Zebdiah s/o Edward s/o Joseph B. Billeter ("Old Joseph").

I hope this helps a little bit to resolve the conflict.
