I am looking for information on the parents of Penthus BILLITER/BILLETER. Penthus was born on September 12, 1820 in Elkhart County, Kentucky. When he was quite young his family moved to Ohio and then to Clay County, Indiana, where he grew to manhood. He married Susannah Beauchamp in 1840. I have conflicting information as to his parents. One version is that he is the son of Levi BILLETER and Mary PATTERSON. The other is that he is the son of Mark BILLITER and Mary OWENS. I would appreciate any help solving this conflict. Thank you in advance.
