Charles and Edward Billiter, Virginia

I'm trying to establish a connection between Charles Billiter (b. @1813-1815 VA. m. Mary Green in Tazewell Co., VA.) and Edward Billiter. I think that Edward is the father of Charles but I have found no proof of that relationship. I did find both Edward and Charles in the 1840 census with no other Billiter's in the region, and in the 1830 census Edward did have a male living in his household that would have been the correct age. But I have been unable to find proof of that relationship. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
