Hi. I'm researching the William Thornton line and I thought I'd check out this board to see if anyone researching Billington had come up with a connection between Eliza BILLINGTON and William THORNTON.

Here is what I have. This has been a big mystery for all folks researching Wm. Thornton.

Virginia Heraldic History - Elbert Co., Georgia, Tyler's Register - Vol 1-19-21-Family Bible & Co. Records, says William Thornton's first wife was related to Luke Bellington, who was either a grandfather or godfather of their son, Luke Thornton, b. about 1641.
