I spoke with Erma Friend Cooper (age:87), dau. of Maude Muncy Friend, granddaughter of Martha Billingsly Earls McGuire Hart.
I know your main interest was with Mr. McGuire, so this is all she told me: he was a cattle buyer from Polk Co., MO, and he was married to another woman with 7 kids. After Martha & Mr. McGuire got married they raised 2 of his children: Jasper & she couldn't remember the other one (was it Jessie?). She said they were married. He died in Ozark Co., MO. They are buried at Hicks Cemetery. I don't know where that is in Ozark Co.
Martha was married #1 to Mr. Earls. They had a dau., Idey. Divorced, she had a child out of wedlock with Mr. Willis Muncy, Maude. #2 Andy McGuire (no children with this man) #3 Al Hart.
I hope this is new info for you. Good luck. If I get any more info on Mr. McGuire I will pass it on to you.
