Benjamin Warfield Billingsley was the son of Robert Joseph Billingsley and Elizabeth Termin. Robert Joe was born 27 Jan 1843 in Warren Co, Ohio, the son of Joseph and Sarah Warfield Billingsley. Joseph's line can be traced to Francis Billingsley, an early immigrant from England and Holland.
Robt. Joe md. Elizabeth Termin 3 Nov. 1905 in McDonough Co, IL. She was born 18 Apr 1848 in York Co, PA, the daughter of John and Susannah Baker Termin. John and Susan were married 11 Nov. 1841 in PA, and Susan was born 04 Oct 1821 In York Co, PA. Some have said John was an Englishman, but I believe he was born in Pennsylvania. John died probably around 1862. According to one descendant, he was murdered by a claim jumper in a land rush.(Probably Homestead Act of 1862.) Susan Baker Termin, married and divorced John Stengel, then md. Garret W. Roberts in 1869. She died 11 July 1907.
Robert Joe Billingsley died on 03 Nov. 1905,in Schuyler Co, IL and Elizabeth Termin Billingsley died 25 Nov 1931 at the home of a daughter in Beardstown, Cass Co, IL.
