Ronnie. This is what I show (please remember my caveat...hand-me-down records that need
documentation.) I show the parents of James B. Billingsley SR (b. 1 Dec 1792 in the Pendleton Dist of SC) as WILLIAM BILLINGSLEY b. SEP 1762 OF RANDOLPH CO NC and MARGARET WILSON OF NC (no other info on her). William's parents "may have been" HENRY BILLINGSLEY b. OCT 1740 ST. MARY'S CO. MD and
SARAH ALLEN OF NC. (no other info for her either.) Henry was said to have moved to SC and then onto GA. Had about 10-11 children but only 4 boys. I have no notes on William. I do understand that James B. Sr. was an early pioneer in Rabun Co. GA. Hope this is what you were looking for. Just remember that you'll have to find some hard evidence on these guys to be sure. All the best, Roz
