I have a James B. Billingsley,Jr. (1824), son of James B. Billingsley,Sr. (1792 SC) and a Mrs. Rhoda Billingsley (???). If this sounds about right, I show Sr.'s parents as William Billingsley Sep 1762, Randolph Co. NC and Margaret Wilson (abt 1760 NC). These are all hand-me-down records without documentation attached. However, Margaret's place of death is shown as Rabun Co. GA aft 1840. Let me know if I should check further. Roz rcol2000@aol.com
