Some of my ancestors lived in North MS in or near Pontotoc, Union, Lee, Lafayette, and Tippah Counties. My ggg grandmother was Emmaline Billingsley who was born around 1835 by my estimation. She married a Mr. Privette, and she had a son William (Bill), and two twin daughters, Laura and Ida. She also married a Walker, and had two sons and a daughter: John and Tom Walker, and Margaret Elizabeth Walker b. 1857. Please write and let me know if you know of any possible connection. I am trying to find my Billingsley relatives in North Mississippi, and it has not been easy. Thank you in advance.
