Lucy Prince Billingsley was the 6th child of James Nathaniel Billingsley born in Johnson County, TX. 14 March 1854. He lived in Johnson and Hill Counties, TX until he was grown then he moved to Hamilton CO, TX where he married 4 Dec. 1879 Charilda Caledonia Carter, born Hamilton Co. TX 10 Nov. 1861, a Dau. of James A. Carter. James Nathaniel Billingsley was said to be of medium build and light complexioned. He engaged in farming and died at his home 22 Apr. 1925 (the 5 is not clear, could be an 8?). She survived him and resided in Hamilton Co. TX. Family members of Christian Church. Lucy Prince billingsley is shown as born 8 Dec. 1889 and m. John Henry Massie and residing Vernon, TX in early 1930's.
