I may have the answer to your "Mary Crow". The Davis Billingsley book states that Thomas (7) Billingsley (b. 16 Feb. 1781, Montgomery County, NC to Silas (6) Billingsley) m. prior to 1807 Elizabeth Abercombrie who died ca 1823. He moved to AL about 1824 and settled in Perry Co. where he married prior to 1827 a Miss Crow, who died in the 1830's. He then married a Mrs. Rutland who was deceased before 1850 leaving no children.
Thomas had 4 children by Elizabeth and 2 by Miss Crow: Elizabeth born 1827, died when she was small; and Thomas W. b. 1829 in AL, moved to San Jacinto co., TX after the Civil war where he died unmarried after 1880.

Hope this helps clarify (or maybe muddy the waters???) the Thomas' . I think there are at least a zillion Thomas Billingsley's in the book.
