I'm a descendant of a J. P. Billingsley also. I have been assuming that my J. P. as Jon Powell Billingsley because of the same birthdate as John Poell Billingsley that is mentioned in The Billingsley Family in America. My J. P. married Maggie E. Bain in Washington Co. TX and had only one child Harvey Cavitt Billingsley. I have been searching for further proof on J. P. for years.
