I am tracing the family history of my great grandmother, Annie Thomas Billingslea/Billingsley, born October 22, 1852. She married Reuben Newman Downing on December 22, 1870 in Hinds County, Mississippi. They had six sons and one daughter. Reuben died on January 17, 1891 and Annie moved the family to Hutto, Williamson County, Texas to live near her twin brother, William Billingslea/Billingsley. They resided there until her death on May 5, 1937. Many of her descendants live in Texas.
