Captain Jesse Billingsley's parents were Jeptha Billingsley and Miriam Randolph Billingsley. I am descended from Captain Jesse's brother, Elisha Billingsley. Jeptha was born in 1780 in Onslow County, North Carolina and died October 25, 1863 in Cedar Creek, Bastrop County, Texas. Miriam Randolph Billingsley was born 1785/1786 in western North Carolina. She died sometime between 1851 and 1854 in Cedar Creek, Bastrop County, Texas. Jeptha and Miriam were married October 25, 1863 - place unknown. They had 11 children.
