My late grandfather, JD Billingsley, was said to have Indian blood (of which I am also very interested in finding any information on).

JD's parents were Wallace Billingsley and Mary Puckett (both rumored to have Indian blood). Austin TX area.

Wallace Billingsley's father was Jesse (Jethro) Billingsley. Jesse moved from Tennessee to Texas about 1830.
