Pages 117-119 of "The Billingsley Family in America" by Harry Alexander Davis, published in 1936, gives this information about the parents and siblings of Sias, born 1784 in NC (Sias is the spelling for many Billingsley family members). Father was Sias b St Mary's County Maryland 14 Jul 1751, migrated to Anson County, NC about 1772. Married in 1774 Elizabeth Wilson, b 1758 NC. Sias died before 28 Mar 1836. Children were Clement(Mar 1775-1787), John (Jun 1776), Elizabeth (1777), Elias (4 Sep 1778), Wilson H (May 1789), Thomas (16 Feb 1781), Bowles (Oct 1782-1793), Sias (1784), James (1786), Clement (Jan 1788 died in invancy), Mary (Oct 1789), William (1792).
