Need help on my dead-end!
Ethel Billingsley, born May 1893 Chico, CA to Charles Oliver Billingsley and his wife Margaret (Hessel) Billingsley. I am descendant of Margaret's sister Elizabeth Hessel and would like to make contact with family descendants.
Ethel Billingsley married 8 June 1911 Thurmon Bates b. 24 June 1888 Denton, TX , son of James Polk Bates b. 14 July 1843 Barren Co KY and his wife Siena Emily Crutchfield b. 29 July 1857 Lamar Co. TX. Ethel and Thurmon Bates were living in Maricopa County, Arizona in 1930. They had at least five children:
Therma Bates born ca. 1913
Ruth Bates born ca. 1916
Oliver Bates born ca. 1920s
Ethel Bates born ca 1920s
Dorothy Bates born ca 1920s
I would like to make contact with descendants of this family to learn more about Margaret (Hessel) Billingsley's life and exchange family information and old photographs. Need all the help I can get!
