I found your Caroline Billingsley in the Davis Billingsley book. she was the wife of Joseph (son of Jesse (7) Billingsley). Caroline and Joseph (b. 1836 TN) were married prior to 1860. She was born Green Co., MO (no date given, no maiden name known). he enlisted 28 June 1862 Pvt. K, 27th Ark. Inf., CSA for the war. roll dated 28 Feb. 1863 shows: Deserted 26 July 1862." There is no further military report for him. a statement by one of his nephews says, "Uncle Joe disappeared during the war." On 8 Oct. 1864 Caroline is listed as "Female Prisoner." at St. Louis, MO. she died at U. S. General Hospital, St., Louis, MO 20 Oct. 1864. she left a written agreement for the Sisters of Charity to take her two children, Jesse and Blanche.

this is direct quote from Davis' book and nothing else is shown. There are too many male Billingsley's whose names start with "W" for me to find the "W" Billingsley you mentioned. Maybe someone out there can help with that one.
