My aunt Mabel doesn't think we are the same family. Our name is german but originally may have been bilix and changed at ellis island. Did your grandfather come through new york in the 1800's? that's the family story I was told. They settled in Iowa and were potato farmers that then moved to Idaho. I will talk to my aunt again and try to get more of the story again.
