My father's family is from near Elkins, WVA - about 50 miles SW of Elk Garden. My dad, Harry William Biller, was born in Harmon on 21 Aug 1942. My grandfather, Casper Lee Biller, was born around there too on 09 Feb 1908. Casper had two brothers, Lewis & Conway, both who lived & died (1990's) around there. His two sisters were Barbara Biller Dellinger, and Virgie Biller Moomaw. They are all dead now. There is no family kept record of ancestors. My father told me that Casper's father was Jacob(?) "Jake" Biller, who married Lille Delawder. My dad says his granddaddy "Jake's" father was named John Biller. John supposedly fought for the Union during the Civil War, and was known as "Johnny Brave".
Sorry I can't provide any better info. Your post looked most promising. Thanx for any help.
