I am researching the Biller family branch of my blood relatives. Does anyone out there know the origin of the Biller name? It has also been spelled "Bealer" and "Biler." I have been told that the Biller name is of Pennsylvania Dutch ancestry. My great great grandfather Milton C. Biller was born in July 1848 in Elk Garden, W.Va. He died in Elk Garden too, I believe. He married Sarah Catherine Dyke, my great great grandmother Oct. 23, 1879 in Mineral County, W.Va. Sarah Catherine Dyke was known by a nickname among her friends and
close relatives as "Kate." Milton C. Biller and Sarah Catherine "Kate" Dyke Biller had several children, including my great grandmother: Susan "Susie" Frances Biller McTall, b. June 6,1895, Mineral County, W.Va., d. Feb. 1, 1984 in Oakland, Md. My great grandmother Susan "Susie" Frances Biller married Louie McTall {born as Louie Metallo}.
Other children of Milton C. Biller and his wife, Sarah Catherine "Kate" Dyke are: Carrie Biller, b. July 1880, in Elk Garden, W.Va., d. Elk Garden, W.Va., married a "Hatchkiss" and had two children: Ruth and Kathern Hatchkiss;
Charles Biller, b. October 1881, Elk Garden, W.Va., d. Akron, Ohio, married and had two children: Ruth and Charles Biller;
Noah D. Biller, b. Feb. 1883, Elk Garden, W.Va., d. Reevesville, W.Va.;
Johnnie Biller, b. December 1885, W.Va.;
Emma Biller, b. Dec. 1887, Keyser, W.Va., d. March 18, 1889, Mineral County, W.Va.;
Harry M.Biller, b. May 1889, Elk Garden, W.Va., d. Akron, Ohio;
Lester L. Biller, b. Jan. 1892, Elk Garden, W.Va., lived in Pierce, W.Va. and married someone who went by the first name of "Bertha";
Clarence Biller, b. September 1898, Elk Garden, W.Va., d. Kempton, W.Va., married Edith Phillips {They did not have any children.};
Sadie Biller, b. July 1, 1901, Douglas, W.Va. d. April 1, 1975, Reeseville, W.Va., married a man by the surname of "Donaldson" and they had two children: Alberta Donaldson, who lived in California and Junior Donaldson, who died in Maryland.
Milton C. Biller's daughter Sadie Biller Donaldson later married Steve Parsons and had two more children: Sandra Parsons, b. Reeseville, W.Va. and Skip Parsons.
