I believe I am descended from the Bill family of Farley Hall.
I have a pedigree chart beginning from around 1600
which is available from the Staffordshire County records
Office. It shows all the descendants of I think from memory Richard Bill who married Elizabeth Shenton, an heiress
and moved to Farley from Norbury, Derbyshire.
There are extensive records in Staffs CRO of the Bill family, wills, wc.
I have in my posession an old lease and other documents from 1754.
Hope thi may be some help.
