The information I have on your William Smith Biles b 13 Apr 1822 in TN, was the son of John Biles b ca 1790 Rowan Co., NC and Catherine Walton(m 28 Dec 1814 in Rowan Co., NC). In 1850 Census of Macon Co., TN, the family can be found as follows:
1850 Macon Co., TN
Wm Biles, 28 b TN, Elizabeth, 22, Sara C. 3, Joseph 2, and Benjamin J. 7(should this be Elizabeth??)(This from an index-have not viewed actual census.) In 1860 they are in Denton Co., TX(I have actual census there). After the death of Elizabeth Hatfield(said to be a widow, Wm. S. Biles married Barbara Dunkin on 22 Sep 1869 in TX. Wm. S. Biles died in Hays Co., TX. I think the lived around Kyle or Buda, TX. Email me, I can give you additional info. God bless.
