Was Thomas Biles, wheelwright and Pvt. Am.Rev. NC, married to Elizabeth (Proctor) Carpenter? I have seen this marriage in Quaker records either in PA or NJ. We KNOW her name was Elizabeth. I don't think Mr. Bryan Biles could establish exactly which line the above Thomas Biles was descended. It is thought he was of William Biles and William Biles, Jr. but I am yet to see it documented. Thank you for any sound documentation or contradiction of the above.
