Hi Kathleen,
Thanks for the reply and glad to hear from a Biles. My grandfather's sister, Grace Ross McComb, was married to George Biles. The info I'm seeking is where were Grace and George married? I have info of the McComb's living in Douglas county, IL in 1884 and nothing else until they appeared in Cass county, NE in 1890. Did George Meteer Biles die in San Bernardino county, CA. or LA county? Also I have info on two of their daughters. Lutie was born in Niobrara, NE and "little" Grace was born in CA. There was a third daughter listed in the obit (Merle) which I have no info about. The three youngest McComb sisters, Grace, Emma and Mary were married after 1884 but I have no idea where to look for records (IL or NE)
I used to have contact with Dan Biles (your father?)when he was living in northern CA but lost contact when he moved to southern CA.
Thanks for any info you can share and I'll share what I have.
