Thanks Mike for the info. Do you know anything about a possible daughter, named Rebecca who married a Jarrett? Obediah Biles married as his 2nd wife Martha Keeble in 1847 in Rutherford Co., TN. In 1850 Obediah Biles and Martha are on the Rutherford Co., TN Census as follows:
1850 Census Rutherford Co., TN
339-339 Gambill District Oct 11, 1850.
Biles, Obadiah 52, M, Carpenter, 1180, VA
Biles, Martha 48, F, VA
Jarrett, Rebecca, 23, F, TN
Jarrett, son 3, (no first name given)
The state of his birth I believe is in error, of course, but the rest seems to be correct, and of course it has occurred to me that Rebecca Jarret, might also be a daughter of Martha, but thought I would ask.
