Daniel Biles was the son of Thomas Biles, b. 1700/1720 d. 1784 Rowan Co. NC and wife Elizabeth Unknown, b. 1700/1720, d. 1796 Rowan Co. NC. They were married about 1740 in Pa or NJ and moved to Rowan Co. between 1752 and 1757. This information from Bryan Biles, "The Biles - Byles Family: How Green Was Our Valley", self published in Altus OK 1969. Additional information on Daniel and Thomas appears in the book.
